Ancient vs Non-Ancient weapons and off-hands however make a huge difference - you can be talking 15% or more of a damage boost each. You can use a Shadowhook equipped and Fang cubed, which is actually better for raw damage, and it has the benefit of ensuring that we get the maximum Fang's damage buff which is nice, but there are several advantages to going Fang + Lost Time equipped and Shadowhook cubed - it means more movespeed, more toughness, and another source of CHC which opens up the roll options on Kalan to be a bit more lenient (which is a good thing, because they're extremely hard to get well-rolled).Īncient vs Non-Ancient armor really isn't a big deal - you're normally talking something like 2-3% more damage and toughness per piece. Requiem Cereplate could be an interesting option as well that I haven't tested yet - that would give you even more healing than the obscene amount we're already getting might be interesting to try on a higher GR. You can also do Aquila Cuirass which should stay up the entire rift but you'll have to be careful not to overcast Bone Armor/Decrepify on the RG as you won't be getting any more Essence at that point and you can only use them 3 times (at 330 max essence) before Aquila will drop. For GR70 I prefer Frostburn and for GR60 I prefer a movespeed item like Warzechian, Stewart's, or Krelm's. I even tried Pox Faulds but I probably wouldn't recommend that. Frostburn, Cord of the Sherma, Warzechian Armguards, Stewart's Greaves, and Krelm's Buff Belt are all solid options. There are actually multiple good options for the cubed armor slot though. It's not an option on diablofans currently. The armor slot in the cube should be Frostburn. Reduces the number of items needed for set bonuses by 1 (to a minimum of 2). In addition, your movement speed is increased by 4 - 5% for 5 seconds. Your cold skills reduce the movement speed of enemies by 30%.
